So many of you would have seen my Protein Banana Ice Cream recipe, which is absolutely AMAZING! but recently I’ve been creating a lower calorie ice cream which I have during the day or before bed. It’s an extremely light and fluffy texture and with just a few ingredients, so its super easy to make!
Some of you might be thinking “whatever! Nothing can compare to real dairy ice cream!”… But trust me… This recipe is DELICIOUS and totally guilt free, and actually aids in fat loss. You can fill an entire bowl with this stuff so it will definitely keep you satisfied!
7-8 Ice Cubes
1 Scoop of Protein (I use Prosupps Isolate as its faster absorbing and no carbs/fats)
½ Tsp Xanthan Gum
1-2Tbs Waldens Farms Caramel Sauce (Zero Calories)
Dribble of water (Just to help everything blend together nicely)
1Tbs Coconut Oil
Start by blending up the ice cubes in a big blender cup so they become fine (I use a Ninja Blender). Add in all of the other ingredients and BLEND! Keep blending until the mixture has become big and fluffy! (Should increase in size about x3).
You can go ahead and eat it just like this, but I like to transfer it into a bowl and then melt some coconut oil and pour it over the top, and leave in freezer for another 10 minutes until the coconut oil has hardened. To me, it gives it like a ‘chocolate chip’ texture!
